Abstract

Ischemic stroke is one of the most frequent clinical diagnosis for which patients are referrred to radiology department for emergent imaging. Timely and accurate imaging guides early transfer to treatment unit and immediate management. Time saved in getting an accurate diagnosis of ischemic stroke with advanced computerized tomography and magnetic resonance imaging techniques may decrease mortality and morbidity.
