Abstract
Soft tissue sarcomas are rare tumors which represent 1% of all solid malignancies in adults. Only %10 -20 of these tumors are located in retroperitoneum. Because of nonspecific symptoms, diagnosis is often made late until the tumor reaches a considerable size. We herein reported surgical treatment approach in a patient with giant retroperitoneal mass. We believe that the primary retroperitoneal tumors represent a challenge for all surgeons, because complete resection which is the optimal treatment may lead to sacrifice of other vital organs.
