Area of Usage and Importance of Brain Natriuretic Peptide in the Emergency Department

Abstract

Cardiac natriuretic peptides from their roles and important features in cardiovascular physiology had been begun using as diagnostic and prognostic markers in cardiovascular conditions such as hypertension, heart failure and acute coronary syndrome. Brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) has been seen most sensitive and specific indicator of cardiac dysfunction. Because of measurement of BNP is possible bedside it has been supplying widely easiness in the emergency department and following up inpatient.
