Abstract
Distal embolisation and complications related with distal embolisation rates were higher than underestimated after percutaneous coronary intervention due to coronary artery disease. Thrombosis after percutaneous coronary intervention was detected as % 6 in myocardial infarction patients in a study. Coronary embolisation may be occur after; percutaneous coronary intervention, coronary artery by-pass graphy and fibrinolytic therapy. In this report we present an inferior myocard infarction patient after percutaneous coronary intervention due to anterior myocard infarction. In our case origin of embolism was replacement of either a thrombus or a plaque. Like in our case, myocardial ischemic signs and symptoms; chest pain, serial electrocardiographies should be followed. Focusing to localization of the lesion or site of intervention may mislead due to this reason like in our case; it should be kept in mind that there may be lesion in retrograd or side branches.
